The Examiner was an Old Ang Moh man -Sonata plays-
I practiced quite alot alr for my 3 pieces.

The format for the Exam is :
1) Play 3 Self-chosen Pieces
2) Play 10 examiner chosen Scales
3) Sight-Reading : Play 1 small melody
4) Aural Test! Examiner play a short melody, sing it after he play
5) Aural Test! Given a paper w/ 5 random notes, sing the 5 notes.
6) Aural Test! Examiner will play a short song. Answer all qns on the song.

I tink my pieces I did quite well!
No mistakes at all.

But my scales T_T
I played de first 3 scales no mistake.

4th one i repeated 3 tyms cos kip making mistake.

5th one same i repeated 2 tyms.

6th~10th got minor slip but played fluently.

Then Sight-Reading, I've always been bad at it.

Alot of ppl are bad at Sight-Reading anw :P
I played lyk shit but still okok bah

Then the Aural Test!
At Grade 5, the Aural Test change le!
Diff from Grade 1~4. More difficult!
Got ask abt the Genre of the piano song.

Got Baroque, Classical, Romantic & Modern.

Very hard to tell the difference man! Only Romantic I can tell.

Cos Romantic always got 3 count. The rest are...

Hopefully I'll pass with Merit!!
100 = Passing Mark
120 ~ 129 = Pass with Merit
130 ~ 150 = Pass with Distinction
